Tablao Flamenco 1. & 2. September 2023 in the Kammerspiele Seeb theater

As the title “Tablao Flamenco” suggests, on both evenings we experienced a world that was not only fascinating but also unforgettable hours full of passion, rhythm and emotion. Leonor and Marcos opened the show with a “Seguiriya” that burned not only intense but also emotional.

The performances of all participants were supported by the flamenco musicians from Spain Pedro Jimenez, Roberto Hernandez and Carlos Jimenez. Of course, the former student Natalia Thaïs, who studies at the Conservatorio Superior Madrid, was not to be missed. She presented fantastic flamenco performances that showed her skill and elegance. Solea por Bulerias, Fandangos de Huelva with Manton, Zapatilla (ballet slippers) and Castanets
or the Guajiras with fan and bata de cola.


The ensemble consisting of Hana, Lily, Giulia, Leyla, Seraina and Beatriz performed the wide range of flamenco, from tangos, tarantos (which the “Letras” were interpreted by Hana) to solea (the “Letras” were performed by Lily with Bata the Cola).

At the end were danced by all por Bulerias, full of joie de vivre and energy. The choreography for the ensemble was created by the great flamenco artist and teacher Inmaculada Ortega.
Not only were we sold out, but the standing ovation was the crowning glory for all the performers.
